Can't disable third-party signatures on outgoinf mail

Post by sttng359 »

I am having issues with some outgoing mail that is matching a signature from Sane Security and I can't find a knob for disabling third-party anti-virus signatures on outgoing email. I have disabled third-party signatures on the corresponding incoming mail domain alzatex.com, but it didn't seem to help when sending mail from that domain. The signature is Sanesecurity.Jurlbl.Auto.203525180b65b9efc9a5448154969011.UNOFFICIAL. This affected several different emails sent to two different addresses about the same subject. A couple had attachments. One was a new plain-text only email. I can provide copies of the emails if necessary.

That's generally correct. Outgoing filtering is not controllable through the account control center for a simple reason: it could be easily abused. That said, the "auto" variation of those rules has been more trouble than it's worth, so I've removed the entire signature database.
