In my outbound logs I see the following message:
bounced (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=mydomain.com type=A: Host found but no data record of requested type)
My domain dns zone is just a bunch of CNAMEs to dyndns.org domain IP redirections.
Does RollerNet require a hard IP linked A type entry in my zone record?
Bounced Messages no Type A record

If you're doing SMTP Redirection, whatever you put as the destination server needs to lookup as an A record; this is because it's for an SMTP transport value. If you're trying to do something like "mydomain.org IN CNAME xyz.dyndns.org" in DNS, and using mydomain.org as the destination, you can't. You need to use xyz.dyndns.org. CNAME chains don't always work, and CNAMES for mail (or NS records) is technically an illegal usage.
From a technical standpoint, the "Destination Server" value is really a Postfix nexthop transport with MX lookups suppressed. (http://www.postfix.org/transport.5.html)
