Problems with incoming html email

Post by maxfloden »

Hi,

Have you done anything to the message headers lately? As of today I received several html emails where I only see the html code not the correct page layout (text, pictures etc).

I notice the lines
X-Rollernet-Abuse: Processed by Roller Network SMTP Services.
X-Rollernet-Abuse: To report abuse, visit http://rollernet.us/abuse.php

Is this something recently added (or something else) that could be causing this?

The problem doesn't have to be with you, I'm just taking a chance asking here, but email I recieved today from other servers that don't get smtp forwarded from rollernet does not have this problem.

Thanks.

Those are a recent addition, I'll disable it for now until I can try a different way of adding those headers. It's part of the upcoming anti-virus filter, but the part that adds headers should not have effected the body portion.

Is this just any HTML email or specific ones?

It's off now. Some examples would be helpful; just send them to support@rollernet.us

I've changed the code that adds the headers; please let me know ASAP if the problem persists.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier, I forgot about this thread the minute it started working again... And yes, it is working now, I haven't had any more problems.
