Our sad tale with Verizon made the front page of Slashdot and conveniently overloaded our poor low-end web server that rarely sees all that much traffic.

For now, we've had to convert our wordpress install (which is notorious for being unable to cope with high loads) into a static site with the linked article so we don't have a dead link on the front page of Slashdot.
