domain in defer all without reason !!! and no email
Hello, Suddenly a domain centrefamilial.be was put in defer all the 2006-09-18. I didn't get any email, and there was no reason because the bounce log is empty ??? Normally this should only happen if there is a bounce. That's very very ennoying as customers get very angry. The domain is a qmail-catc...

queue status
The page with queue status isn't loading correctly or not completely. And I cannot release the queue for some domains because it generates a message that it cannot connect to mail.rollernet.us or mail2.rollernet.us

client validity check must have mx record
another remark (just to get the service even better !) i am trying to use the option "MAIL FROM address must have MX records" in client validity checks. There is one problem : a lot of mailinglists are configured with the email address xxx@host.domain.com as the sender address. Domain.com ...

We can work on adding a maximum byte size setting. OK; is there a way I get warned juste once and at the next time only then the domain is in defer all. Or send out a warning every hour, that a domain was in defer all. All my configurations should be correct, which means that if there is backscatte...

mail rejecting and domain in defer all
hello, I have a domain where the qmail is in catch-all and the only anti-spam is spamhaus, that is also checked by rollernet. So there should be no problem for all email from rollernet to be accepted by my server. Nevertheless my domain was put in 'defer all' because de mail server rejected a messag...

The cache/fail order should now be fixed; please let us know if you are still having problems with this feature. Great, i have no more failures on existing users; this is important because if my server with the user database is out or the interconnexion is not good, emails will continue to go throu...

This indicates the failure mode has been triggered, due to a malformed response from the auto-learning method chosen, or a network timeout. In the case of HTTP, it could be anything like the webserver being unreachable or the script took too long to respond. When an error occurs attempting to query...

We're looking in to the problem right now. Still going on today, I am certain the user exists and is cached in the client validity table, but smtp still tries to check whether the user is valid. (and the problem that it does not succeed ...) @durbuy.be Date: 2006-06-26 11:15:06 Instance: 49aa.449fa...

problem greylisting and IP address
hello, since the greylisting is testing not only the To and From, but also the IP address, I have problems getting mails through the greylisting. A big ISP as Skynet in Belgium uses 195.238.3.0-195.238.6.0 for there emails going out. Everytime the mails get blocked. On top of that, if the mails is b...

I had the same problem with qmail.
If the smtp verification lets everything through, you only have the http possibility. That's what I did for Qmail.

another question about autolearn
Wouldn't it be better just caching the the good ones, and not the bad email addresses ? Two arguments : If a client sends an email to an address, by mistake, and the email adresses is created afterwards, than the client has to wait the end of the caching period (min. 1 month) to come through. Obviou...

solution
I think I found the solution. The body and head were empty, but the tags themselves were still there. I elimintated them too. And it's ok now.
