Push Email Support for Cell Phones

As of April 19, 2012 we have deployed an early release of an ActiveSync compatible open source push server. Since it is based on open source software we will not be charging for this ActiveSync option, but we reserve the right to limit it on lower level accounts depending on its server side resourc...

Another way to see where it's really going is to run the command "dig +trace QUILOMBO.NL" if you have access to a system with the "dig" tool. We'll work on adding it to the control center under the tools section.

I already answer this via email, but jut to follow up in case this happens to anyone else: The problem was that Exchange is advertising that it supports TLS connections (with the STARTTLS capability string), however it appears to be broken on the client side. Retrying with an unencrypted (non-TLS) c...

It's in development. You can see a preview here:

https://acc.rollernet.us/mail/autolog.php

You can define logs and parameters, but it won't actually execute the schedule yet. If you have any feedback let us know.

Unless someone or something is changing DNS records, I can't think of anything that would cause what you're describing to happen on its own.

Are you using our DNS or someone else's? If it is ours, I'd need to see the real DNS entries to look it up in the system, I can't really speculate.

Re: Mail logs, outbound mail accounts

Acutally these are two issues. First, I need to have an existing Mail Domain before I can create an Outbound mail account. Now I have a non-used incoming Mail Domains to use an Outbound mail account. Is it possible to seperate this? Not really. If your account doesn't "own" the domain, so...

No, not at this time. The mail handling part of the system doesn't know about the alias domains because they get rewritten into the target domain in order to inherit the settings. The original intent of domain aliases was to allow someone to alias a whole bunch of variations for their primary domain...

I haven't changed anything yet - I've been too busy physically moving all of the equipment to our new facility to do much of anything else.

I'll put it on the request list. I don't think it'll be too hard to add.

You got it right with the spammers, which is why having an open backup MX is always a bad idea.

The test function in the link above does not use the MX records, it will connect directly to the selected server (mail or mail2).

You can either manually connect to one of our servers and send a message directly to it, or use the test function in the account control center that can do the same thing:

https://acc.rollernet.us/mail/test.php

Verify using the mail logs that it was processed as you expect.

There's one other thing that just came to mind: IPv6. All of our nameservers that serve the domains like rollernet.us are dual-stack with IPv6 addresses. If they are IPv6 enabled and there's an intermittent problem with IPv6 connectivity, that could also cause a failure. I can bring up an extra name...
