Re: CAA Mandated by CA/Browser Forum
I don't have a timeframe. I'm still working on slowly stepping through upgrades to PowerDNS to ensure nothing breaks horribly when I have to make major schema changes.

Re: ip6.arpa primary dns zone
This should be corrected; there was an error in our validation for the "arpa" TLD.

Re: Push Email Support for Cell Phones
Z-Push has been upgraded to the latest version 2.3.7. We're also considering moving activesync.rollernet.us to its own virtual machine rather than running it alongside webmail. Running it on the webmail server was appropriate at the time for its experimental nature, but if we want to add additional ...

Re: Push Email Support for Cell Phones
We are working on upgrading z-push to the latest 2.3.x version. Even though this has been tagged as "experimental" for many years now, we have enough people using it that it's probably safe to say at this point that it's not so experimental at this point. The certificate for activesync.rol...

Re: Outlook 2016 and Exchange Activesync
No, you can't, but that might not work on our activesync connector anyway. It was only tested as push mail on mobile clients since that was the original request. Here's the original thread: https://forums.rollernet.us/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=619&p=2358 Not much has really changed since its "...

Re: Outlook 2016 and Exchange Activesync
The users we primarily see using our activesync service are with mobile devices for push mail notifications, but they still use IMAP on desktop clients.

Re: Outlook 2016 and Exchange Activesync
Our activesync interface isn't going to be as well supported as others. We have it available and it generally works, but we don't do any in-depth testing beyond login on a device and sending a couple test messages.

Re: Outlook 2016 and Exchange Activesync
This could have been due to the wildcard SSL certificate we were using for activesync.rollernet.us. We've moved it to using a Let's Encrypt certificate which is named, not a wildcard cert.

Migration to HTTPS and Why HTTPS Everywhere
We've recently migrated all of our sites to HTTPS. The account control center and webmail will continue to use Extended Validation certificates like they always have, while everything else will now be using certificates from Let's Encrypt . Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate au...

HTTPS with Let's Encrypt
We've deployed HTTPS with a certificate from Let's Encrypt for the forums. The IP addresses for forums.rollernet.us were also changed and may take up to 24 hours to clear from caches if you've visited recently. The old addresses do not have an HTTP->HTTPS redirect in place, only the new ones do.

Re: CAA Mandated by CA/Browser Forum
We're not redirecting HTTP into HTTPS yet, it's just for testing.
