But, I've another question, do 'vacation' responses get sent to 'Read receipts'? Not sure. My guess would be "no" since it might fail the directly addressed standard, but we've personally never used read receipts. It would really depend on the mail client since that's what generates the &...

You can always throw a "notify" in with your autoresponder actions to send a message to yourself: require "notify"; notify :method "mailto" :options "notifyme@example.com" :message "Some condition matched!"; } Of course it's not totally impossible to...

It's not possible - Sieve sends directly to the outgoing SMTP pool which is not aware of the control center or its databases.

In SquirrelMail, it will try to use the login name as the email address (which obviously won't work in this case). However, this is easy to fix. Click on the "Options" link at the top of the message window and then "Personal Information". In the "E-mail Address" field, ...

Webmail has two quirks: 1) The login name is the same one that will be used for outbound authentication, so make sure there's an outbound mail account of the same name as the webmail login. 2) The hosted mail box password and the outbound account password must match since webmail will use the login ...

We don't have a 6to4 relay; we're just sending the packets upstream with the rest of it. routy-core0#show bgp ipv6 unicast 2002::/16 BGP routing table entry for 2002::/16, version 565193 Paths: (1 available, best #1, table Global-IPv6-Table) Not advertised to any peer 6175, (received & used) 262...

The auto-responder will not work if any of these conditions are true: * Auto-Submitted: header exists with any value except "no" * Precedence: header exists with value "junk", "bulk" or "list" * The envelope sender begins with "MAILER-DAEMON" (case-i...

We've added source information to the "X-Rollernet-FwdBox" and "X-Rollernet-FwdTo" headers. The header format is "source@example.com->destination@example.net". We tested the header with this Sieve condition: header :contains "X-Rollernet-FwdBox" "source@e...

You are correct. We do the same thing with alias like "admin" to forward to our "support" box. In the case of Bcc, there's no indication (other than buried in early "Received" headers) that the message was destined for the pre-forward address. We already add a header &q...

We do a basic reverse verification on the sender email address (the MAIL FROM) for all messages submitted to our outgoing mail service. If it passes, we accept the message, otherwise it's denied. The idea is to prevent submissions using invalid email addresses and/or domains. The error message from ...

We added an explicit default of 'false' in the content filter for the x-spam-flag header check; previously, it would have defaulted as undefined.

Hmm, odd. The last update we made to the content filter was on October 28 to add support for SpamAssassin Bayesian filtering, which is a different module. We'll take a look though; you're the second person to mention this.
