FYI - savvis.net listed at rfc-ignorant.org again

Looks like savvis.net which supplies your mail2 service has been listed again in the rfc-ignorant listing. It's not the first time either. I get no help from them when I get spam from inside there network. I would suggest finding another provider for your secondary stuff. Savvis.net is notorious in ...

spamassassin support really needed

Be really nice if there was some spamassassin support for at least us that pay for our service here.

Because of your backscatter policy we are forced to deal with the spam instead of being able to reject it at the server level here.

Ok... I wonder how pratical this is... It could block many valid emails so I won't turn mine on. I'll stick with the blackholes listing.

So it checks if the mail is coming directly from a ISP's dynamic IP pool ?

This is because hotmail does not use rollernet for any of its MX servers.

The only thing you can do it is disable SPF checking.

I use this tatic on one of our main domains here. We added.... MX 100 mta-spoof.domain.here and gave mta-spoof.domain.here the internal IP of 192.168.0.1 which is totally valid RFC since intranet's can use that IP. It's not the same as 127.0.0.0/8 which is black/BOGON listed because it is considered...
