I broke open the relays inside and one of them had badly pitted and discolored contacts and the distinctive small of burned electrical equipment. I'll write up a newsfeed post with some pictures later.

We traced the problem to an APC dual-cord redundant switch that has - apparently - quietly failed. This caused a power loss to some equipment (namely the DNS pool and some servers with single power supplies) and affected other things. We experienced an general failure of our DNS caching pool for unknown reasons. We are looking in to it.

It is impossible to mirror messages that don't pass through our servers. In order to mirror copies of all incoming mail you would either have to set up some kind of intercept on your mail server to send copies to us, or use SMTP Redirection to pass all mail through us before sending to your mail ser...

We're currently in a development freeze due to the move and not working on any changes at the moment. It won't be until after the facility move has completed that I'll be able to get back to the request list.

Our circuit to Sprint bounced this morning, but when it came back up, we weren't receiving any routes via BGP from Sprint. As a precaution we've temporarily shut the BGP session down until we can contact someone at Sprint.

I just created account "test+ext@rollermail.net" myself and it was bounced. It's been years since I've looked at the rollermail.* settings, perhaps it isn't set to + as I figured it should be. I'll have to look in to that as it's never come up before.
