Problem with mail2 ?

Hi, since a few hours (?) I notice many "mail deferred" alerts for our mail server: Message: connect to server2.*k-expert.com[85.*14.*4.158]: Connection timed out ... but our server is online, active, smtp requests are handled within milliseconds, there is no timeout. The (RollerNet) queue...

hmm ... maybe it´s just fortune, but my last 10 mails were processed correctly, no errors occured anymore ! :D
If you didn´t reconfigure something, it seems that someone in our IT department installed an update ...
I´ll come back if it fails next time.

Thank you and best regards,

Karsten

Okay, I think it could be pretty difficult to figure it out ... Maybe you are interested in doing some further tests, and I would be glad to assist you. Unfortunately I only can test it by sending mails, as I think I wouldn´t get an answer (on short notice) from our IT department asking for configur...

Hi Seth, thanks for your answer. Since pwc.com is a very large company and the mail servers for Europe are located in UK, I think there is unfortunately no chance to discover anything e.g. by our IT service dept ... it would last a few months to escalate the topic. Maybe the servers are on fu...

delivery failures - host not found ?

Hi, I have a problem receiving mail from a certain mail server. I´m not sure if it concerns also other servers or only this one. At work, I send a mail to my private account, for which Rollernet is configured as mail host (MX). Sometimes it works fine, but sometimes I get an error message from my em...

Amount of data

Hi, I like the new design of this site, and I think as well the new pricing is okay. But there are two different declarations of the amount of data included in my service level (personal): on http://www.rollernet.us/accounts.php your write "Up to 200MB of mail per day" for personal level, ...

Domain alias

Hello, wouldn´t it be a nice feature to set tup "domain aliases" ? Sometimes there are two (or more) domains with exactly the same settings (e.g. valid users), and it would be much easier to configure if one only had to add a domain as an alias for an already existing domain instead of set...

DoS

Hi Seth, We've been able to mitigate the effects of the attack with Sprint null-routing some offending IP addresses. We'll be sending a full report later this evening. that´s great, I´am very glad to hear that ! I had never thougt that it could happen on both servers at the same time. And I hope it ...

Re: 'Pull' based user table

good idea - but you have to create the user list, too.
Isn´t it easier to use API ? https://acc.rollernet.us/api/
