Re: CAA Mandated by CA/Browser Forum

Just wanted to say I'm interested in this feature as well. Thanks guys!

Also, are you aware the forums are using a staging LE cert?

Re: URL Forwarding

Cool. Well, I will be eagerly awaiting the implementation of that feature then. As to losing the long reply, Isn't that an internet right of passage?

Re: URL Forwarding

I'd still love to have this feature here at rollernet, but I now see my biggest issue was having pretty small times in my SOA record (expire in 1 day!?!?) so rollernet expired out the valid data it had rather than working through the zoneedit outage/flaky period.

URL Forwarding

I'm currently using zoneedit for primary dns solely because they have URL forwarding and I need to redirect a url. Sometime last night their servers started acting up and my secondary DNS here was disabled due to not being able to refresh the zone before it expired. It's taken a few hours of playing...

spamassassin custom scores

I have been getting some spam emails slipping past spamassassin and they all seem to have "DRUGS_ERECTILE" show up as a test. They are not scoring high enough to hit the threshold (which I've already lowered to 3). I went into the custom scores section and try to set a high value for that ...

cosmetic wording issue on SpamAssassin Whitelist page

On https://acc.rollernet.us/mail/whitelist.php, the entries have the following wording:

Sender address matches "foo@example.com" with and destination domain is example.com.

The "with and" seems a bit awkward. Again, this is completely cosmetic.

slight inconsistency with logging

I was just perusing the last couple days of incoming mail logs for one of my domains and noticed that 4 entries per accepted mail show up for me. An "Accepted recipient (RCPT TO)", an SPF pass (probably not there in all cases), the processed xxx bytes of DATA, and the SpamAssassin score. I...

Set up a catch-all on your server so it never rejects anything from rollernet or set up the correct user list on rollernet so it will only accept valid email that your server will accept.

Advanced includes all pattern types. Just to clarify: the post you referred to is the IP ranges as regular expressions; that means the dot in the pattern can be anything (dot, dash, both, neither, etc.). Thanks for the clarifications...I know .00001% about regex so I didn't immediately spot that. T...

I have 5 IP ranges in there, none of which include either of the 2 IPs I pasted above.

Which of the 2 modes has more filters in it?

I'm a little confused about which formats fall under which category. In your first post about the announcement (http://forums.rollernet.us/viewtopic.php?t=296) you use the terms "Basic" and "Advanced" and basic has a lot and advanced had one pattern. Your next post you use the te...

Basically you have to move all your anti-spam to the rollernet servers. I had this same problem when I started using this service (Thanks for blocking 25 Cablevision). I had a fairly large set of blocklists and reject rules on my postfix installation at home and I added all the custom RBLs that I wa...
