Thanks (strange though that not all my domains are setup as backup mx) I tried to change to new ip but then in the log I got: lost connection with 194.9.94.78[194.9.94.78] while receiving the initial server greeting Tried to change to forward and then I got this in log: host mailforward1.loopia.se[1...

Backup mx not delivering to new mx?
I've been using rollernet as backup mx for some of my domains. A couple of weeks ago I changed from having my own email server to using my isp's and hence changed the dns records to reflect this. At the same time I also changed from using my own DNS server to using my isp's. Now when I check the mai...

Problems with incoming html email
Hi, Have you done anything to the message headers lately? As of today I received several html emails where I only see the html code not the correct page layout (text, pictures etc). I notice the lines X-Rollernet-Abuse: Processed by Roller Network SMTP Services. X-Rollernet-Abuse: To report abuse, v...

The reason I'm asking is actually because the around 10 domains I manage are small with only a few users in each (10-20). Problem is that some of them I co-manage and since they are so small we don't have any special process or policy for handling them which will make it easy to forget to also add n...

I just saw this in another thread, I guess it answers my question: As we speak, I'm trying to fight off yet another flood of undeliverable messages on mail.rollernet.us. It's only about 500,000, but it's enough to cause delivery delays that are being noticed. It's hard for me to keep explaining to p...

Is there a new delivery problem? I haven't recieved much mail all day. When I check the logs at rollernet, for some domains last delivery was more than 12 hours ago (10-17-2005 19:36:00) even though the incoming logs show that email is being delivered. Emails for other domains that have been deliver...

Any chance that domains only using the Secondary MX service could be exempt from this rule? This would make at least my life a lot easier. I can understand the need for recipient tables for SMTP redirection domains since these should amount for most of the traffic, right? Also - I did not recieve th...
