Please use the actual email address and domain name; they are key to resolving your issue. If you do not want to post them in a public forum you will need to resend this issue to us via email to generate a support ticket. The MX record check is a security restriction to prevent abuse of the service....

The outbound (auth) logs are not as comprehensive as the incoming mail logs, unfortunately. We do plan to give them an overhaul after we're finished with the big move. The basic issue is that we need to move away from domain-based logging for auth and use the auth names instead. Domain based is fine...

We do have per-domain data transfer in the database, so we can work on making a query interface for it as well. At this time however we are in a development freeze due to our move, so it may not be done until next month.

One exception: IMAP IDLE, if the device supports it. We do support that server side.

Push is a Microsoft Exchange thing; IMAP and POP3 don't have anything like that in the spec.

We did a little research on the issue and your solution is correct. It was giving an invalid password error because the password request method didn't match. Our servers only accept "plain" type authorizations and expect that the client will open a secure connection using SSL or TLS if sec...

That error typically indicates a password mismatch. We recommend changing the password and trying again.

It looks like you just need to update the IP address for SMTP Redirection. It's configured as an IP so it's ignoring DNS. Select the "Change Service" action from the selector and choose "SMTP Redirection (direct delivery)" to update the IP.

No, it appears the logging handler died this morning when syslogd restarted after rotating logs. We just now started it back up. Odd, because it's just a copy of the same logging handler reading a FIFO used on the other mail servers.

It updates continuously, however it's only recording logins. If someone leaves their mail client open for two days and it holds the connection the whole time, that's only a single login event. There is no logging for IDLE. Likewise sending mail won't trigger an IMAP/POP3 login event unless the clien...

In Postfix (we have no idea how to do this in Sendmail) you would want to request *our* certificate fingerprint and check it using the check_ccert_access method to return an OK early in the process. It should work as is, but honestly we've never actually tried it in the real world. The only reason t...
