DNS Weirdness

Post by logart »

Hello, I had to move my IP's last week and seem to be having issues still. I cannot get my ns1 domain to resolve to the new IP (even though my root domain resolves to the new one fine), and when I query the rollernet.us NS's for my root domain, they don't even return a result for the domain they are secondary to?

Any ideas on where I can start?

Ack... I seem to have missed your post until now. Sorry about that!

Try setting the masters for the domains in the account manager to the IP address, rather than the hostname. This will force our name servers to query the IP directly, rather than rely on a possibly cached nslookup result.
