reject specific dynamic addresses

Post by wkuypers »

Hello,

In fighting against image-spam, we are using the option 'Reject "dynamic" Client Hostnames'. We are using basic mode for the moment.

Is it possible to reject something like this :
Connection from 86.203.136.31 (AAubervilliers-153-1-65-31.w86-203.abo.wanadoo.fr)

As I configure out, even advanced mode does not cover this.
It should be something like

a-b if IP address is a.b.c.d

Thanks

We'll work on allowing a custom pattern list to be used similar to the DNSBL interface. In the meantime, we'll add "a-b" to the match list.

In the meantime, that's what I discovered. Another thing is that some companies have their own mail server on a static address. These should be excluded, either by whitelist or by an exception on the dynamic filter. For ex. the texte to exclude is adsl-static

thanks
