hello,
I am redirecting emails with SMTP to my Qmail server. On the Qmail I deactiviated the catchall account. So normally only real accounts should pass. You can have a look at 1web.be
Qmail always accepts and then rejects, if I well understand Qmail. Is there a possibility to use the auto-learn with Qmail ?
Let me just specifiy that the server is not in open-relay.
thanks

As far as I know, Qmail won't work with the auto-learn feature due to its accept everything then reject later style. Auto-learn requires a yes or no answer at the RCPT TO stage or in response to a VRFY command; auto-learn will just learn everything as "accept" and pass it on, even if Qmail is going to bounce it later.
An alternative is to use the URL method and assemble a list of valid accounts in a script, which is probably more work than it's worth unless it's part of a larger integrated system, or just maintain the valid users table manually.

QMAIL and chkuser
If you install the chkuser patch with your qmail system, you can reject rcpt to commands before any futher data is sent.
