We have a utility power outage beginning at 12:00 UTC-8 caused by a minivan knocking over a utility pole. Normally this is not a problem (we were running on generator) however at 14:33 UTC-8 our brand new Eaton 9355 UPS system reported a "DC link overvoltage" and cut power to the system. It refuses to turn back on. We have called Eaton and they are dispatching a tech. In the meantime, we are running on generator power alone via the parallel cabinet bypass and are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
Our web server did not recover and thus the forums are unavailable, however we have an external status site at http://rollernetstatus.com/ that we will post updates on as we have them. At this time mail services *are not* offline (according to monitoring systems), however they were interrupted for a short period of time.
We apologize for the problems; we did not expect our brand new UPS system to fail less after a month of operation. We do have a 24 hour service contract on it and someone is enroute to repair it.
