On July 20, 2009 around 11:00 local time the processor that collects mail logs for the account control center from their staging queues stopped working (although the daemon was still running). We fixed the problem, however there is a backlog of several million logging entries that are currently being processed.
Due to the amount of data pending processing, queries to the mail logs were resulting in spinlock timeouts. As such, we have disabled mail log access until the backlog has cleared.
No logging information has been lost.
