System Maintenance Notice, ID#318

Some services with the Roller Network may be affected by the following scheduled maintenance. Please read this message in its entirety for details. Reference ID#318 when contacting technical support.

REASON FOR ACTIVITY: Processor and memory upgrades.
SERVICE IMPACT: Access to the account control center at https://acc.rollernet.us
EVENT START: Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11:00 PDT (GMT-8)
EVENT END: Saturday, June 6, 2009 12:00 PDT (GMT-8)
DURATION ESTIMATE: 20 minutes.

Event Description:

We will be adding additional memory and replacing the existing processors to enhance the performance of our master database server. The master database server handles requests from the account control center and replicates them to the service control database pool. None of the major Roller Network services (SMTP, DNS, SMTP AUTH, mail boxes, etc.) will be affected by this event.

Due to the limited impact and nature of this event, we elected not to clutter our customer's mail boxes with the email notification system. Appropriate notices have been placed on the account control center for this maintenance event.

The master database server is currently in the shutdown process; we'll start the hardware changes as soon as it's off.
